According to the meteorological department's forecast, affected by the continuous impact of this round of strong cold air, Guangxi will continue to have overcast, rainy, and cold weather for the next three days. Some areas in northern Guangxi will experience rain, snow, and freezing weather, with temperatures continuing to drop by 6-8°C across various regions.

As of now, Guangxi Power Grid has not experienced any line tripping incidents due to ice coating. A total of 4 lines of 110 kV and above have ice coating, among which the ground wire of Tower No. 5 on the 110 kV Jinzhongwang Line has an ice thickness of 12.11mm, with an ice-to-wire ratio of 0.43. Based on the ice-to-wire ratio, the company will carry out DC ice-melting work on this line again after the 28th.

In response to the severe situation of this cold air being stronger, with lower temperatures and a wider range of rain and snow, China Southern Power Grid Guangxi Power Grid Company has taken proactive measures in advance, implementing various defensive measures, conducting line inspections, ice observation, and substation duty, effectively coping with low-temperature rain and snow to ensure power supply. To strengthen anti-icing and ice-resistant work in high-altitude cold regions, power supply bureaus in Liuzhou, Guilin, Hechi, Baise, Hezhou, and others have also issued yellow warnings, making proactive preparations for power load forecasting and grid operation arrangements under super cold wave weather. In particular, they have formulated emergency plans and risk control measures for potential ice-coated line outages, completed the replacement and addition of online ice monitoring terminals for transmission lines, inspected and maintained ice-melting and ice-coating monitoring devices, and completed maintenance tests for fixed ice-melting devices, mobile ice-melting devices, and distribution mobile ice-melting vehicles, ensuring the normal operation of anti-icing and ice-melting devices.
