Introduction

Transformer capacity characteristic tester can accurately measure the capacity of various distribution transformers, passive measurement, and can measure various types of transformer no-load current, no-load loss, short-circuit voltage, short-circuit loss, zero-sequence impedance. It can also automatically perform waveform distortion correction, temperature correction, voltage correction (no-load test under non-rated voltage), current correction (short-circuit test under non-rated current conditions). The operator only needs to input the correction index according to the transformer type, and the instrument will automatically calculate the corrected result. It allows external voltage and current transformers to expand the measurement range and can measure any parameters of the test object.

3 Usage Characteristics

The transformer capacity characteristic tester comes with a high-efficiency rechargeable battery, can work without external power supply, and can continuously measure dozens to hundreds of units on a single charge; at the same time, it internally synthesizes a three-phase standard sine wave signal (not simply an inverter AC output, ensuring the accuracy of test data under non-rated conditions), and through a power amplifier can provide a three-phase precision AC test source; when measuring transformer capacity and short-circuit loss, there is no need for external three-phase test power supply, voltage regulators, current boosters, and other auxiliary equipment, simplifying wiring and greatly improving work efficiency; the capacity test result accuracy reaches 100%. It is equivalent to two devices: an active transformer capacity tester + a transformer loss parameter tester.
