http// Safety Warning ● The personnel using the DC high voltage tester must be professionals with a "high voltage test certificate". ● When using this instrument, users must comply with Article 168 of the "Electric Power Safety Regulations" and install two obvious disconnection points before the working power enters the tester. When replacing the test object or wiring, first disconnect the two power disconnection points clearly. ● Before testing, check whether the grounding wires of the tester control box, voltage doubler cylinder, and test object are properly connected. The test circuit grounding wire should be connected to a single point as shown in this manual. ● Discharge large capacitive test objects using a 100Ω/V discharge resistor rod. When discharging, do not immediately touch the test object with the discharge rod. Gradually approach the test object until the air gap begins to ionize and discharge with a hissing sound. When no sound is heard, discharge with the discharge rod, and finally directly connect the grounding wire for discharge. ● When performing capacitive load tests, be sure to connect a current limiting resistor. ● When the DC high voltage is 200kV or above, even if test personnel wear insulating shoes and stay outside the safety distance area, due to the influence of the high-voltage DC ion space electric field distribution, several nearby standing personnel may carry different DC potentials. Test personnel should not shake hands with each other or touch grounding bodies with their hands, otherwise slight electric shock may occur.
