This current booster is used as a power source for the primary current of current transformers during calibration, or as other 50Hz single-phase current power supply equipment. It is also known as a current transformer calibration current booster, current transformer verification current booster, or current booster.

This current booster is used as a power source for the primary current of current transformers during calibration, or as other 50Hz single-phase current power supply equipment.
This current booster consists of an input winding (220V, ±), an output winding (below 100A), and a through-core winding.
The output current indicated on the nameplate of the current booster refers to the rated current that the through-core winding is allowed to pass. When the through-core winding has multiple turns, the allowable rated current will decrease inversely.
The ratio of the output capacity indicated on the nameplate of the current booster to the product of the output current and the voltage per turn is the maximum number of turns allowed for the through-core winding under this output current condition.
