Working Principle



The digital megohmmeter is composed of medium and large scale integrated circuits. This instrument has high output power, high short-circuit current value, and multiple output voltage levels (four voltage levels). The working principle is that the internal battery serves as the power source, and the DC high voltage generated through DC/DC conversion goes out from the E terminal, passes through the tested object, and reaches the L terminal, thereby generating a current from E to L. After I/V conversion and division by the divider, the measured insulation resistance value is directly displayed on the LCD.
